Without a doubt, one of the best small towns for fall in Texas is Winnsboro. This itty bitty city may only have about 3,500 residents, but you’d never know it if you visit during the month of October when the annual Winnsboro Autumn Trails celebration is in full swing. This month-long event features pie and chili cook-offs, a flea market, an antique car show, and so much more. Even better than the festivities, however, is the town’s overflowing small-town charm and Southern hospitality that make tourists feel like lifelong Winnsboro natives.
Have you ever visited Winnsboro during autumn? What are your favorite small towns for fall in Texas? Tell us in the comments! And if you need a place to stay while you’re in town, Vrbo has lots of great options.
