Texas has nearly 400 miles of coastline, so it should come as no surprise that fresh seafood is abundantly available. One such place where you can find it is Katie’s Seafood House, located right on the Galveston Channel. This family-run restaurant serves up daily catches straight from the boat – it’s some of the freshest seafood in Texas!
Owned by the same family as Katie's Seafood Market on Pier 19 in Galveston, Katie's Seafood House serves up some of the freshest seafood on the island.
If you're feeling indecisive, we suggest starting with the seafood nachos. With chimichurri grilled fish and shrimp, Mexican coleslaw, asiago and pepper jack cheeses, and taco crema, they're quite the mouthful.
Don't forget the sides! From classics like hushpuppies to more unique offerings such as blue crab mac and cheese, they round out your meal in the most scrumptious way possible.
Have you ever eaten at Katie’s Seafood House? If so, what did you order and how was it? Tell us in the comments! For another Galveston restaurant with some of the freshest seafood in Texas, check out our previous article.
