If you’re in search of themed restaurants in Texas that the whole family will love, look no further than The Roost Cafe in Eustace. This small town restaurant is entirely rooster themed, and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a chicken coop when you walk through the doors. It’s one of the quirkiest places you’ll ever eat!
Formerly known as Sue's Roost, The Roost Cafe is situated in the heart of the Eustace town square.
Perhaps the quirkiest place you'll ever eat, the restaurant is - you guessed it - rooster themed. Between the homestyle fare and unique atmosphere, you'll definitely have something to crow about.
Upon entering the restaurant, you'll feel as if you've stepped into a chicken coop.
There are roosters everywhere you look, from the wall to the front cover of the menu. The atmosphere will remind you of a quaint little farmhouse, with red and white checkered tablecloths and vintage, country chic curtains on the windows.

The Roost dishes out classic Southern eats, from a fried green tomato appetizer to fresh-baked pie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
There are also daily specials like pork chops and hamburger steak, each one served with tea or coffee, your choice of three vegetables, and either a roll or cornbread.
At dinnertime, heartier options dominate the menu, including one of the biggest and best chicken-fried steaks you'll ever eat.
Don't forget about the sides - from mashed potatoes with gravy to hand-battered onion rings, they round out the meal in the most delicious possible way.
