With locations in both Houston and San Antonio, Rooftop Cinema Club is among the most unique theaters in Texas. With personal headphones, deck chairs and cozy blankets, and spectacular skyline views, it's an experience like no other.
While the rooftop theaters are currently closed, both cities have traditional drive-ins, as well. Enjoy classic films and new releases from the comfort of your own vehicle -- just like the 1950s. And this cliffside backdrop at Fiesta Texas is simply breathtaking.
First step: the box office. It's all digital these days, so tickets are purchased online using a credit or debit card. Two different types of seating are offered, with rates dependent on proximity to the screen.
What's a movie without snacks? Load up on concession stand favorites, like chips, candy, and bottomless popcorn, or head to one of several local food trucks parked onsite for a full-blown meal. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food!
Movies currently showing include "Frozen 2," "Grease," "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)," "Selena," and many more iconic films. Showing times range from 8:30 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.
