According to a geologist from UT, the ranch has a greater variety of minerals than anywhere else in the state. In addition to topaz, there's limestone, granite, tourmaline, sandstone, quartz, schist, and even more types that have yet to be identified. Petrified wood and bone, fossils, arrowheads, hand axes, and other artifacts have also been found.
