Burgers might as well be their own food group here in Texas, with only the best of the best making the cut. Grump’s, an unassuming roadside joint in Granbury, is definitely top tier, using only the highest quality beef in its patties. With over a half-dozen different kinds of burgers on the menu, there’s something for everyone. Come for the food; stay for the relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels like family.

Conveniently located along the main highway in Granbury, Grump's Burgers is the brainchild of Collier Albright, who left the corporate world in 2001 to pursue his true passion: flipping burgers.
The risk was worth its weight in gold, as Grump's has received numerous accolades since its inception, including the prestigious honor of being named among the top five burgers in America by TripAdvisor in 2018.
Inside, the restaurant is every bit as kitschy as you'd expect a roadside hamburger hut to be, with license plates, vintage signs, and T-shirts covering the walls and ceiling.
The funky atmosphere is overshadowed only by the fast and friendly service that seeks to make everyone who walks through the doors feel like family right away.

Now, let's switch gears and talk about what matters most: the food.
There's a reason these burgers get such rave reviews, and you'll understand the hype as soon as you sink your teeth into one of them. The classic burger just comes with the usual suspects like lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions, but the juicy beef and toasted-to-perfection bun eliminate the need for any fanfare. Make it a cheeseburger if you're really feeling adventurous!

While the burgers at Grumps are plenty delicious without all the bells and whistles, a change of pace can be nice sometimes.
It isn't all about the burgers - scrumptious sides like homemade potato chips, fries, onion rings, and corn nuggets round out the meal and ensure nobody leaves the table hungry.
Burger add-ons such as bacon, mushrooms, grilled onions, and jalapeños
are also available, as are other entrees including sandwiches, chicken strips, and salads.
Don't forget about a drink to help wash everything down!
Grumps has its very own field, so you can have some good old-fashioned family fun after you eat!
Grumps has additional restaurants in Burleson, Cleburne, Stephenville, and Abilene, and operating hours are 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday for all locations. Visit the website or Facebook page to learn more.
