Pizza is a very important food group here in Texas, and Fort Worth is celebrating in a truly epic way just two months from now. This May, the first annual Fort Worth Pizza Festival will feature pies from thin crust vegan to deep dish meat lover’s and everything in-between. There will also be a wine + beer garden, activities for children, live entertainment, and more!
This May, Fort Worth is hosting its first-ever pizza festival. It's essentially going to be a massive block party full of drinks, activities for kids, live entertainment, and, of course, more mouthwatering pizza than your heart could possibly desire.
It's all going down at The Yard, an 18,000 square-foot entertainment venue complete with a rooftop patio, dog park, karaoke rooms, and free arcade. It's basically an adult playground -- though kids are more than welcome to attend the festival.
Local restaurants and food trucks will be offering every type of pizza imaginable. From thin crust to deep dish, vegan to meat lover's, rest-assured everyone will have the opportunity to feast on their favorite rendition (and perhaps try something new, as well!).
A locally-known celebrity pizza chef will showcase the Pizza of the Year, along with demonstrating some one-of-a-kind pizza baking techniques. Other notable attractions include a wine & beer garden, live entertainment, and bounce zone just for the kiddos. You definitely don't want to miss out on this full day of fun and deliciousness.
Put your appetite to the test and see if you can be the first to finish an entire large pizza. Cash and additional prizes are awarded to the winner, so make sure to come hungry!
So whether you like Hawaiian, pepperoni, plain ol' cheese, or something totally out of the box, mosey on down to the Fort Worth Pizza Festival. Adult general admission tickets are $10, ages 9-15 are $7, and everyone 8 and under gets in free.
