Next time you find yourself in or around the Hill Country, don’t leave without swinging by Vaudeville in Fredericksburg. One of the best restaurants in Texas, this legendary spot is also home to an art gallery, boutique, and seasonal supper club. The chef-crafted cuisine is truly outstanding, and it’s impossible to have a bad meal no matter what you order.
With a bistro, seasonal supper club, art gallery, and retail space, Vaudeville offers everything you need under one roof.
The bistro is located on the ground floor of the complex and boasts an ambiance that simply exudes modern elegance. Open 7 days a week, the hip and happening destination has plenty of seating room, both at the counter and in booths and tables.
Elevated fare is the name of the game at Vaudeville. You'll see a variety of different cuisines represented on the menu, from American classics like buttermilk fried chicken to Italian dishes such as lasagna (with homemade pasta and ricotta, of course).
Braised Akaushi beef, anyone? Served with polenta, harissa-roasted carrots, a micro salad, and garlic demi-glaze, this gourmet entrée is always a crowd-pleaser.
Other options include wood-fired artisanal pizzas, soups and salads, charcuterie boards, a variety of appetizers, and caviar presentations. There is also a prix fixe menu on Fridays and Saturdays that allows guests to choose one appetizer and entrée per person.
Don't forget about dessert - the cookies at Vaudeville are nothing short of legendary. Flavors include salted caramel, dark chocolate hazelnut, chocolate chunk pecan, and several other divine varieties, plus traditional macarons.
Visit the Vaudeville website or Vaudeville Facebook page for more information, including current hours and a full menu.
Have you ever been to Vaudeville? Do you think it’s one of the best restaurants in Fredericksburg? We’d love to hear all about your experience in the comments!
