Great seafood and waterfront dining are equally abundant here in Texas, but finding a place that has both is a bit more difficult. We’re happy to announce the search is over, as La Porte’s Monument Inn serves up mouthwatering seafood with tables overlooking the Houston Ship Channel and pristine Trinity River.

Just steps away from the beautiful Trinity River, Monument Inn serves up mouthwatering seafood with a side of awe-inspiring views.
From lighter fare such as soup and salad to six different types of fish, there's truly something for everyone. Get your fish grilled, broiled, or blackened, and topped with your choice of sauce (we're partial to the Ponchartrain, which features shrimp, crab, and mushrooms.)
Monument Inn might be a seafood restaurant, but their cinnamon rolls simply can't be beat. These bad boys are baked fresh daily, and the sinfully sweet aroma will have you salivating in no time. Most entrees come with a basket of cinnamon rolls, but make sure to double-check the menu and order a few if yours doesn't.
So if the way to your heart is fresh seafood and waterfront views, look no further than Monument Inn. It's a treat for both your eyes and your stomach!
Restaurant hours are 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Visit the Monument Inn website or Facebook page to learn more.
