Mac & cheese is a classic kid food, but adults are reclaiming it in an epic way this upcoming spring. At Houston Mac Attack, dozens of different gourmet creations plus an open bar guarantee to ignite your taste buds in more ways than you could ever imagine. It’s a strictly 21+ event, so leave the kids at home and enjoy some old-fashioned nostalgia with friends.
This coming spring, the cheesiest festival of the year is coming to Space City. Houston Mac Attack will feature dozens of different scrumdiddlyumptious takes on a nostalgic childhood delicacy.
Local chefs and restaurants converge to battle it out in hopes of their mac winning the whole thing. Guests have the opportunity to vote after each sample, so the ball is entirely in your court.
Baked, ethnic, and veggie-loaded are just a few of the variations expected to be available. Cheesy carbs never disappoint, but they're even better when subtle flavors and different textures are involved.
Since alcohol is included with ticket purchase, the event is strictly 21+. Mac 'n cheese might be a classic kid food, but it's about time we adults reclaim it.
General admission includes unlimited samples, an all-inclusive open bar, and a commemorative spork. For an extra $30, you can get in a half-hour earlier.
