There's nothing quite like cold drinks and a lively atmosphere when you need to shake some stress away, and Kirby Ice House checks both of those boxes.
With three locations: two in Houston proper and one in The Woodlands, this neighborhood hangout spot has all the necessary ingredients for a good time.
All three locations offer an unforgettable experience, but the one in The Woodlands has some extra-special features that take it over the top. Not only does the bar have a whopping 10,000 square feet of indoor space, but it's also home to the longest bar in Texas!
The bar is nearly 150 feet long, surpassing the business' Memorial City location, which formerly held the title of the longest in Texas. With 51 rotating beer taps and plenty of room for guests to belly up, the party truly doesn't stop here.
In addition to the impressive interior, the bar also boasts an 18,000-square-foot patio complete with picnic tables and ample shade from towering oak trees.
The patio is dog-friendly, has a massive outdoor screen for watching the big game, and features a delicious lineup of food trucks offering everything from Mexican food to pizza to BBQ.
Every Wednesday is Steak Night, so come hungry and prepare to chow down on pit-smoked ribeye, sausage, and scrumptious sides like loaded baked potatoes.
As for the drinks, you'll see more than just beer on the menu! The ice house is also known for their innovative, handcrafted cocktails. Whether your preferred beverage is a Moscow Mule, mojito, old fashioned, or something else entirely, rest assured there's a perfect sip for everyone.
Have you ever been to the longest bar in Texas? If so, we’d love to hear all about your experience in the comments! Don’t forget to check out our previous article for more reasons to love The Woodlands.
