Originally just a laundromat and car wash, The Cove started serving food to set itself apart and attract more customers. Ice cream and hot sandwiches were all that made up the menu at first, but that quickly changed as the restaurant started gaining popularity.
Beer was the next addition, and over 60 Texas-brewed varieties are now offered on-tap. Have the bartender crack you open a cold one and enjoy it while listening to some great live music.
With a passion for real, wholesome food, The Cove proudly displays where its ingredients come from. Some of the produce is grown right here in an on-site garden!
Plenty of seating, both indoors and out, is available. There's even a playground to keep the little ones entertained, with several nearby tables so you can keep an eye on them.
All the burgers are made from grass-fed beef with no added hormones or antibiotics. Whether yours comes topped with a fried egg, goat cheese, or avocado and Fritos, the difference is undeniable.
Tacos are definitely the crowd favorite entree. The Seafood Sampler is one fish and one shrimp, served alongside a spinach salad garnished with an adorable heart-shaped tortilla chip.
Leaving without dessert would be a cardinal sin. German Chocolate Cake is always delicious, but knowing it was made with a health-promoting intent takes the dining experience to a whole new level.
