There is something to be said about a Texas restaurant that’s still just as popular today as it was when it first opened, and Champ Burger in Houston is one such place. This Second Ward icon first opened in 1963, and it’s still slinging patties like there’s no tomorrow. Houstonians line up down the block for these patties, so if you haven’t yet tried one, consider this your sign.
Visit the Champ Burger website or the Champ Burger Facebook page for more information, including current hours of operation and a full menu.
Have you ever been to Champ Burger in Houston? If so, we’d love to hear all about your experience in the comments. And if you need a place to stay in town, I highly recommend the Post Oak Hotel. It exudes luxury and offers an unforgettable experience.
