It may not be the 1950s anymore, but you’d never know at Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In. This old-school locale is bringing back a cherished American pastime – and giving it a spooky makeover for Halloween. With just about a week left until the big day, you won’t want to miss this unique way to enjoy your favorite horror flicks.
Blue Starlite is the entire world's only mini urban boutique drive-in theatre. It started the second wave of popularity for drive-in movies, resurrecting a cherished American pastime.
Unlike many drive-in theatres that accommodate up to 300 cars at a time, Blue Starlite features only 35 parking spots. This allows for an intimate movie watching experience with few distractions and maximum enjoyment.
Movies of all genres are shown, but horror is being prioritized up until Halloween. Classic films such as The Shining in addition to newer screams offer something for everyone.
With a thick forest grove surrounding all sides of the big screen, a more ideal environment to get your fright on does not exist. Don't be surprised if you find yourself gazing into the trees in search of a masked psychopath or disgusting monster that could be hiding in the shadows.
Don't forget about the snacks! A fully stocked concession stand features popcorn, soda, candy, hot dogs, and all your other favorite goodies. S'mores kits are also available, complete with a fire to cook them over.
