Every October, This Entire Texas Town Becomes A Spooky Halloween Village

We can’t be the only ones who wish Halloweentown were real, and if you share our sentiment, there’s a little-known place right here in Texas that’s calling your name this spooky season. Celina, a mid-size city of about 30,000 located in Collin and Denton counties, transforms into a Halloween wonderland every October. The town square is filled with fangtastic fun for all ages, including rides, games, free trick-or-treating, a haunted house, festive photo ops, and so much more. Gather up the whole family and get ready for a spooktacular night of fright!
Recently designated the official Halloween Capital of North Texas by Collin County Judge Chris Hill, the entire town of Celina transforms into a family-friendly fright fest every October.
This year's theme is "The Past Will Haunt You," featuring elements from various historical eras. Tickets are $5 per person, and all proceeds benefit the Celina Theatre Department.

Out on the lawn, visitors can enjoy a free showing of "Hocus Pocus," a classic festive film.
The Celina Fire Department will also lead a "Thriller" flash mob at 6:45 p.m. If you don't know the moves, get there early and practice along with the on-screen choreography.
A mixture of Halloween-themed and rustic autumn harvest scenes set the stage for picture-perfect snaps, no matter what look you're after.
