Drive-in theaters are all the rage right now, and with Halloween right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to visit one. Rooftop Cinema Club, with locations in Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas, is showing classic Halloween movies through the end of the month. Get ready for a night of fright from the comfort of your own vehicle!
Rooftop Cinema Club has kept boredom at bay in a time when having fun requires us to think outside the box.
This unique, socially-distanced movie theater boasts sweeping city skyline vistas, great food and drink, and iconic movies -- both cult classics and new releases. The club has locations all across the country, with three here in Texas: Houston, San Antonio, and a recently added Dallas pop-up.
Through the first of November, iconic Halloween flicks are making their way to the big screen.
From slasher films like Scream and Friday the 13th to family-friendly favorites such as Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown, there's something for everyone. Showtimes vary from day-to-day, with the earliest screenings at 7:15 p.m. and the latest at 10:15 p.m.

Offering a completely contactless experience, Rooftop Cinema Club has implemented procedures to keep guests and staff members safe.
Visitors must watch the movie from within their vehicle, wearing a mask when going to the concession stand or restroom, and practice social distancing around others.
Sections closer to the screen cost more, while spots further back are cheaper. No matter where you park, sitting in your truck bed or hatchback is allowed, so bring plenty of pillows and blankets to build a cozy fort.
In case you were wondering, the theater is dog-friendly!
Your pooches have to remain in the car at all times, but that's a small price to pay to snuggle up and watch a festive flick with your furry friend.
Visit the drive-in’s website or Facebook page to learn more, including about special offers like community screenings and date night discounts.
