We can all agree on how adorable the Smurfs are, and one Texas dessert shop has taken that sentiment to a whole new level. The only business of its kind in the entire world, Gnome Cones serves up shaved ice, pastries, ice cream, and hot cocoa in the most whimsical woodland setting you could possibly imagine. There’s no place like ‘gnome!’
Having opened just two years ago, Gnome Cones has quickly gained momentum across all of North Texas. It may not look like much on the outside, but Smurfs and Smurfettes travel from every corner of the state to see what the hype is about.
Prepare to enter a world of whimsy as you step inside. Tiny doors, vines hanging from the ceiling, and ethereal lighting evokes a truly magical setting.
Gnome Cones come in 14 different flavors, from tamer options like cotton candy to varieties such as troll's blood that really push the envelope. Popsicles are also available!
At the Denton location only, ice cream is offered in two different flavors: creamy vanilla and a monthly special. How adorable are these? The cone is like a little hat.
You'll also find homemade treats like these 'Gnome Scones' with no artificial preservatives, sweeteners, dyes, or flavors. They go perfectly with a warm mug of 'Sweaty Yeti' Cocoa!
Even the staff are always in character! The shop is run by gnomes, for gnomes, so there's no better place for woodland creatures to gather and enjoy a snack.
Have you ever been to Gnome Cones? If so, what’s your favorite flavor? Is the atmosphere as magical as pictures make it seem? Let us know your thoughts.
