Situated in the heart of the courthouse square, the Lantex Theater is one such place. The theater is still going strong after almost a century in business, showing three weekly movie screenings, plus live music with the Llano Country Opry on the 2nd Saturday of every month.

Originally built as a stagecoach stop and later serving as a hotel and boarding house, this 1881 gem is a Llano icon.
The bulk of Llano's tourism occurs in the summer when people come from all over Texas to make a splash in the river.
