As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Everything tastes better with love as a primary ingredient, and that’s exactly what you’ll find at Farmhouse Coffee & Treasures. Hiding in the tiny town of Argyle, this charming cafe serves homemade lattes and bakery items that encompass everything we love about small-town Texas restaurants.
Hiding in the tiny North Texas town of Argyle (population: 4,100), Farmhouse Coffee & Treasures is located in a nearly 150-year-old building. This quaint little yellow cottage harbors a delicious secret that, unfortunately, not enough people know about.
With each successive step up the walkway, an overwhelming warmth begins to wash over you. Small-town energy is unmistakable, and you'll never forget a visit here.
Inside, the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect of a historic farmhouse. Rich wooden furnishings, glass cases filled with antiques, and kitschy wall decor create an atmosphere so charming, you'll never want to leave.
Whether you prefer black coffee or a drinkable dessert with mountains of whipped cream, rest assured there's something to match every preference. Brown sugar espresso, iced honey lavender lattes, and special seasonal sips will send your taste buds straight to heaven.
Breakfast is served bright and early, and a meal like this could rouse even the heaviest of sleepers. Pumpkin Crunch French toast and a latte with the cutest leaf on top give you all the warm and cozy feelings, no matter what time of year it is.
Sweet treats are made fresh on a daily basis, with love being the primary ingredient. Bakery-style muffins, sticky buns, chewy cookies, and coffee cake just barely scratch the surface of what you'll have to choose from.
Fun events for all ages are held on a regular basis. Get yourself out of the house and come paint a picture or make some pottery — while enjoying some goodies, of course.
