Most water parks are about to close since fall is fast approaching, but not Schlitterbahn Galveston! An indoor portion of the lazy river remains open year-round, so you don’t have to wait for next summer to splash the day away.
What's better than one lazy river? Three! That's right, Schlitterbahn Galveston has multiple opportunities to float the day away — and each one provides a different adventure.
The Torrent River has giant waves generated by a machine that sends your soaring in your tube. Plus, it's partially covered so you can enjoy it year-round!
If you want something a bit more mild, Kristal River is perfect for when all you want to do is kick back, close your eyes, and relax. There are no surprises here — just an endless loop of calm, gentle currents.
All three rivers are connected, so you can flow right into the Whitewater River without getting out of your tube. The raging rapids are exhilarating enough to get your heart pumping without being too dangerous for kids.
You even get to ride a conveyor belt! We guarantee you won't find another lazy river that boats such an awesome feature. Ride to the top before starting your journey on the river of your choosing!
Schlitterbahn Galveston is located at 2026 Lockheed Rd.,
Galveston, TX 77554. The park will be open every weekend through December, and the full schedule can be found here.
