If you love wildflowers as much as I do, the Arbor Hills Tower Trail at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas is sure to become your new favorite hiking spot. Peppered with vibrant, colorful blooms that change with the seasons, this easy loop is beginner-friendly and oh-so-scenic.
Part of the beautiful, 200-acre Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, the Arbor Hills Tower Trail is an easy, 2.5-mile loop that is very beginner-friendly.
The trail meanders through lush greenery and boasts awe-inspiring views of the surrounding landscape - despite having an elevation gain of less than 130 feet.
My favorite thing about this trail is that it's a wildflower mecca. The exact types of flowers you'll see vary depending on the season, but rest assured the blooms are always bright and colorful.
Hundreds, if not thousands of blossoms sporting the most vibrant hues imaginable spring up all along the path. You'll definitely want to bring along a good camera so you can carry the jaw-dropping scenes with you wherever you go.
It's a good thing the trail is so short, because you'll definitely want to stop and smell the roses (and all the other types of flowers!) every chance you get.
