Beginning on October 26, this week-long celebration features over 20 different events. It's the largest Dia de los Muertos festival in America!

Vendors set up shop at the most macabre marketplace you've ever visited. Come home with jewelry, artwork, clothing, and tons more spooktacular wares sure to give your home and wardrobe a dark makeover.

Dancers take to the streets, their vibrant gowns and ghostly pale faces contrasting sharply against one another. Their performance is followed by a nighttime parade, where decked out gondolas turn the River Walk into a captivatingly creepy display of color.

Stop by the community altar and pay homage to all the loved ones, both yours and those of other festival attendees, who have passed on. Perhaps leave a tamale, grasshopper, or Pan de Muerto to show your appreciation.

No festival in Texas would be complete without food. Expert chefs serve up authentic tacos, sugar skull cookies, and tons more traditional goodies.
