Located at April Fool Point Marina on Galveston Bay, Topwater Grill has been serving up the freshest Gulf Coast seafood around since 1999.
The restaurant's nautical-themed interior makes it a go-to dining spot for families, and the laid-back ambiance is popular among locals and visitors alike.
One of the most unique things about Topwater Grill is its "You Hook It, We Cook It" policy. For $13.99 per person, they'll prepare your very own catch of the day, letting you reap the rewards of your hard work.
You can get your catch either fried or grilled. Fried comes with hush puppies, French fries, shrimp slaw, and cocktail and tartar sauces, while grilled features lemon butter, rice pilaf, and mixed veggies.
If you aren't an angler, don't worry. There are plenty of other delicious options! From seasonal delicacies like stone crab and crawfish to year-round classics such as red snapper and fish tacos, there's something for everyone.
How about a little surf and turf? You can't go wrong with lobster tail and a big, juicy steak. There are also a variety of chicken entrees, as well as pasta dishes, burgers, and sandwiches.
