Did you know the longest lazy river in not only the country, but the entire world, is located right here in Texas? The record-breaking attraction can be found at BSR Cable Park in Waco, and it definitely belongs on your summer bucket list.
BSR Cable Park in Waco might only have three rides, but quality usually trumps quantity. Despite having so few attractions, the park still draws visitors by the thousands each year.
Perhaps the most notorious attraction is known as the "Royal Flush." This heart-pounding waterslide sends you soaring through the air in preparation for a big splash into the 16-foot deep pool below.
Cowabunga, y'all! Get your surf on and ride the waves, pretending like you're on a Hawaiian vacation. Beginner, intermediate, and expert options are available, so all skill levels can enjoy the adventure.
If you prefer a leisurely float, grab a tube and hop in the lazy river. At just over a mile (5,280 feet) long, it's the longest of its kind in the entire world!
Although the experience is much like that of any other lazy river, it's still worth it to check a world record destination off your bucket list. With lush greenery on either side of the water, this refreshing oasis is the perfect opportunity to get away from it all.
