Brunch buffets are so last year – it’s about time we move onto cocktails. McAdoo’s Seafood Company in New Braunfels features a build-your-own Bloody Mary station with over a dozen different base and topping options. Bottoms up!
McAdoo's is located in the old New Braunfels Post Office that dates back to 1915. After being closed for 25 years, it was given a second chance at life.
Inside, the atmosphere is elegant and old-fashioned. Pictures of the building's past life can be seen on each and every wall, ensuring its rich history is never forgotten. It also has a special banquet room in the former Postmaster's office for special events.
Outdoor seating in a quaint New Orleans-style courtyard is also available It accommodates over 80 guests and features live blues music every Sunday during brunch.
A small is $8; large $15. Not a bad deal for unlimited add-ons! If you're not a Bloody Mary fan, other beverage options include mimosas, wine, draft beer, vodka, and margaritas. The latter three are $1 off during Happy Hour!
Behold the buffet in all its glory. Choose from a variety of different bases before getting to the fun part: toppings. Celery, onions, bell peppers, cheese, bacon, and dozens of hot sauces offer a totally individualized experience everyone walks away from satisfied.
As far as food is concerned, there's something for every palate. Cajun enchiladas, seafood dip, and crab cake eggs benedict are just a few of the many uniquely scrumptious dishes. There's also an oyster bar, where fresh mollusks are grilled over open fire right before your eyes.
There's no shortage of ways to enjoy delicious crawfish here. Get 'em fried, in etouffee, or even stuffed inside a chile relleno. A side of corn and red potatoes is not optional.
