When it comes to the best hikes in Texas, there’s no shortage of amazing trails to choose from. One of my personal favorites is the El Capitan Trail, nestled way out in Guadalupe Mountains National Park. It’s rugged, remote, and definitely challenging, making it perfect for those times when you want to really work up a sweat and immerse yourself in the great outdoors.
Visit AllTrails to learn more about the El Capitan Trail, and be sure to check out our Ultimate Hiking Packing List for everything you need to bring on your grand adventure. Also, you can sign up for AllTrails+ if you’re interested in perks such as offline map access.
Have you ever hiked the El Capitan Trail? If so, we’d love to hear all about your experience in the comments.
