Whether it's world hunger or relief from a major hurricane, H-E-B is extremely generous. In fact, they donated $100,000 to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey!
3. They actually sell things at low prices.

Unlike other grocery stores that jack prices up only to reduce them just a hair, H-E-B is actually affordable. After Hurricane Harvey, some locations were selling bread for as little as 10 cents!
4. They lend a helping hand.

I personally witnessed dozens of H-E-B Disaster Relief trucks on the highway years ago. They were heading to South Texas to provide meals for the communities devastated by Hurricane Harvey.

There's nothing worse than buying a seemingly juicy and delicious box of strawberries only to open them and discover that they aren't ripe yet or, even worse, they're covered in mold. You won't find that at H-E-B, though! Only the best quality food is sold here.
