It isn’t hard to find fresh seafood in Texas — if you know where to look, that is. Captain Brad’s Coastal Kitchen is a Tomball treasure, owned by a family with deep ties to the industry. From crawfish pistolettes to massive seafood boils, there’s something for everyone on the menu. Not only is the food delicious, but nautical decor both indoors and out makes guests feel as if they’re dining right on the beach.

Tomball might not be directly on the water, but you'd never know after a meal at Captain Brad's. This unassuming eatery serves some of the freshest, most delicious seafood in Texas, and dining here feels like a day at the beach.
Inside, the atmosphere is wonderfully whimsical. Ocean-themed decor makes for a truly authentic dining experience where patrons feel as if they've set sail on a mission to catch dinner. It isn't hard to imagine your toes in the sand when you take a seat.
The menu is absolutely massive, with over two dozen choices for appetizers alone. Classics like calamari and boudin balls meet unique offerings such as crawfish quesadillas and Brussels sprouts with lump crab meat, ensuring everyone gets to start their meal off on the right foot.
Entrees include fresh Gulf oysters, fried seafood baskets, po'boys, burgers, and so many more scrumptious dishes. Grilled options are also available, like this blackened redfish served over cheddar bacon mashed potatoes and topped with a shrimp and crawfish sauce.
During crawfish season, Captain Brad's is the place to be for a good seafood boil. Corn-on-the-cob, snow and dungeness crab, red potatoes, shrimp, and sausage are paired with everyone's favorite mudbug, resulting in a hearty meal you won't soon forget. The side of garlic butter really takes it to the next level.
Not every seafood restaurant serves brunch, but it's a Sunday tradition here. Eggs benedict with crab cakes, shrimp breakfast tacos, and biscuits smothered in crawfish gravy are just a few of the scrumptious selections.
To further solidify the beach theme, an expansive drink menu features tons of handcrafted, tropical cocktails. From hurricanes to frozen margaritas to champagne lemonade, these yummy drinks serve up a little slice of summer all year long.
