Everyone’s favorite childhood storybooks are coming to life! Dr. Seuss Experience, a traveling art exhibit that immerses visitors in a whimsical world of wonderment, will make an appearance in Houston after its Toronto debut. No matter your age, get ready to gasp in awe at all the eye-popping colors and fanciful decor.
Most of us grew up reading Dr. Seuss books for their quirky rhymes and whimsical illustrations. An exhibit honoring the man behind it all is coming to Houston, and it's the perfect way to relive your childhood.
Large, interactive rooms will resemble scenes from the author's most iconic books. Inspired by "Oh, the Places You'll Go," this massive balloon maze immerses visitors in a multicolored world of wonderment.
You just might hear a Who while traversing this waist-high field of pink clovers. Watch them gently sway back and forth and listen for the mighty trumpet of an elephant.
Frolic through a forest of truffala trees and keep an eye out for the little orange troll that Seuss brought to life. Grab a swing and ride it to an fro, the vibrant hues swirling around like a kaleidoscope as you soar.
As the experience travels from city to city, its rooms will change ever so slightly. Who knows what stories will be featured here in the Lone Star State - perhaps one of your favorites!
Seasonal additions will take place, as well. At Christmastime, an exhibit dedicated to everyone's favorite green grouch brings the holiday spirit to life.
After premiering in Toronto on October 26, the exhibit will travel to Houston, Boston, and several other U.S. cities. Click here to stay up in the loop as more dates are released.
