Willkommen to Krause's! Established in 1938, this authentic German café and beer garden is a New Braunfels institution.

Krause's is a full-service restaurant with indoor seating, however most of the action takes place outside.

The lively biergarten features over 80 taps, from local craft beers to traditional German ales.

A covered pavilion keeps the fun going rain or shine, and there's often live music playing on the stage.

Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Krause's boasts an extensive menu full of German classics with a Texas flair.

From schnitzel and bratwurst to juicy burgers and chicken-fried steak, there's something for picky and adventurous eaters alike.

There's no duo quite like beer and soft pretzels, and the ones from Krause's are as authentic as they come. Served with grainy mustard and beer cheese, these tasty morsels promise love at first bite.

Speaking of pretzels, the Pretzel Platter is such a fun meal the entire table can share. The "pretzel" on the right isn't actually a pretzel at all - it's bratwurst in the shape of one! There are two other family platters, as well, and both feature an assortment of delicious German fare.
