If there’s one thing that Austinites can’t live without, it’s tacos. In a city that’s this food obsessed, crafting the perfect bite isn’t always easy. Thankfully, the chefs at Veracruz All Natural have delicious recipes coursing through their veins. This family-owned restaurant draws on the authentic tastes of Mexico while throwing in a bit of local flair into the mix. The Food Network has named these tacos as one of the top five in the country, but locals know that they’re the best in the world. Head over to this humble little diner and taste the magic.
Veracruz All Natural sprouted from humble beginnings.
In 2008, sisters Reyna and Maritza Vazquez served snow cones and smoothies from their food trailer, but they always had dreams of making tacos. Growing up in Veracruz, Mexico, the two women absorbed the techniques and flavors from the area. Their mother and grandmother showed them the ropes around the kitchen, and they've been passionate about the cuisine ever since.
You can now find their taco trucks all throughout Austin, and people will wait in long lines under the hot Texas sun for a taste. The adoration for these meals spread far and wide, so it's no wonder they quickly needed more space.

Eventually, the sisters opened up their first brick-and-mortar.
The Vazquez sisters now have two diners that you can visit in the Austin area. The rustic interior and bright colors will immediately boost your mood. Because of the larger facility, Veracruz All Natural is able to serve an extensive menu of mouthwatering fare.

Like their name suggests, Veracruz All Natural uses only the freshest ingredients.
The al pastor tacos shimmer with a bright, pineapple twist, and the fish tacos taste like you're dining along the coastline. When you smother their creamy, spicy verde sauce on top, taste buds dance for joy.
It's their migas taco that really steals the show.
Austinites have a deeply rooted love affair with migas. The delicate blend of eggs, peppers, and tortilla combines into something beyond words. You can taste the authenticity in this taco. Creamy avocado cuts down the spice, and you're left with a truly balanced dish.
Tacos may be the star, but you can't deny Veracruz's epic flautas.
If you venture to Veracruz All Natural's brick and mortar, you'll be able to dig in to their crunchy and tasty flautas. Order a side of lime-infused guacamole, and you'll be in business.
Crispy quesadillas are also available to satisfy your cheesy cravings.
When these fresh tortillas are toasted on the grill, the end result is divine. This incredible meal tastes great with their unique roja salsa made with avocado.
