In its recent history, the hotel has operated as a museum. Guests could only learn about its paranormal activity through ghost tours and popular television shows. But now, you can go back in time and experience this place as it once was.
In the 1840s, this building was a two-room log cabin. It was transformed into a hotel in the 1850s, and it later became the private residence for serial killer Wilhelm Faust in 1874.
This creepy building is so spooky, it's been featured on "Ghost Adventures" and countless other programs. Visitors have reported hearing and seeing disturbing things.
One of the first ghosts sighted was the spirit of Idella Lumpkin, a fortune teller who lived to be 90 years old. Guests have also reported seeing a ghost known as "The Cowboy" stroll through the property.
