This down-home eatery is a beloved part of the community, and people can’t get enough of it. This Austin-area restaurant is way out in the boonies, but it’s a deliciously fun place to have a meal.
The next time you're in Spicewood, you definitely have to stop in at Opie's. This quaint little barn is full of flavor.
You might have to wait in line for a taste of these ribs, but it's absolutely worth it. The Spicewood folks are friendly, so the time is sure to pass in a flash.
Opie's 12-foot long smoke pit is packed full of all of the things you crave. Their Jalapeno sausage, smoky brisket, and fall-off-the-bone pork ribs will make your Texan heart smile.
