This breathtaking 126-acre oasis has tranquil hiking trails, exciting community areas, and the most refreshing swimming hole around. This hidden lagoon near Austin has some of the bluest water in the state.
Wimberley is only about 45 minutes away from Austin, and it's perfect for a day trip. In addition to the adorable boutiques and delicious restaurants, this town is home to a magnificent regional park.
The park is surrounded by over four miles of hiking trails, and its home to several exciting volleyball and basketball courts.
There's no doubt about it-- you'll want to devote an entire day to exploring this oasis.
The swimming hole is open from May - September. If you want to splash in the refreshing water, it's best to plan ahead. This place is so popular, reservations are required.
