Objects can be extremely sentimental. Mom’s favorite dresser, grandma’s bedside lamp…mere household items can remind us of precious times shared with loved ones. This is a big reason why so many people get into antiquing. It’s hard to explain the exhilaration that accompanies discovering a piece of furniture or painting that looks like a replica of one from your childhood home. To all my fellow Texans who understand that feeling, we’re in luck – there’s a shopping mall-sized antique store in Dallas that will make you feel like a kid in a candy shop.
North Dallas Antique Mall is a three-story former movie theatre - so basically a Galleria full of every kind of antique you could ever imagine.
The variety of items is incredible because private vendors are allowed to set up booths inside the mall and market their products, so be prepared to spend a few hours marveling at the large selection.
Prices are reasonable, and the employees are extremely knowledgeable about the merchandise so you can leave feeling confident and informed about your purchases.
...to old-fashioned TV sets, North Dallas Antique Mall has any and every vintage item you could possibly want to add that extra sparkle to your home and remind you of the good old days.
