Our trip starts with a step back in time at the Galveston Railroad Museum. You'll have a blast while learning all about the fascinating history of the American railroad. At present, admission is $12 for adults, $9 for seniors 65 and up, $6 for children 3-12, and free of charge for children under three. Train rides are available for an extra $7. The wildlife viewing opportunities here are spectacular, and you can see the sights on hiking trails or a scenic drive. We definitely recommend venturing out onto one of the boardwalks that lead into a craggy swamp - it's like entering a whole new world. Admission to the refuge is free for all ages.
