Antiques are kind of our specialty here in the Lone Star State. Rest assured you’ll find at least a few charming shops on Main Street in every small town. This particular antique mall in Sherman has three stories, all stacked floor-to-ceiling with vintage treasures. Whether it’s period furniture, classic records, or retro appliances you’re after, A Touch of Class almost certainly has it.
This beautiful building is nearly 150 years old and has a rightful place on the National Register of Historic Places.
Over 38,000 square feet of space span three floors plus a mezzanine, and every inch is stacked with antiques.
165 vendors set up shop on any given day, selling everything from vintage clocks to retro appliances. Local newspapers have given accolades to the store since 2003, and it isn't difficult to understand why.
Some of them might be a little dusty, but not a single game piece is missing. Sift through the collection and reminisce on cherished childhood memories.
A 2500 square-foot room contains old photographs, yearbooks, newspapers, and much more. People who hail from this area just might find an old family relic.
Even if you don't find exactly what you were looking for, there's a high probability you'll come across something even better - like this vintage mail cabinet.
You'll be surprised at how well-preserved all the items are. Weathered just enough to be recognizable as antiques, they've retained enough integrity to take you on a journey back in time.
You’ll find the shop at 118 W Lamar St, Sherman, TX 75090.
Have you ever been to A Touch of Class? Are there any other antique shops in Texas with multiple floors? This one might be a single story, but it’s the biggest and baddest antique fair in the entire state – and it’s just a few weeks away. Check it out here.
