My name is Chris Dodge and I live right here in the great state of Tennessee. My family and I are full adventurers filled with passion to see the amazing things our state has to offer. We are avid hikers and have explored many different places in Tennessee and beyond but we are always thankful to be living in such a glorious state.
When people think about the food scene in Tennessee, most people will think of Nashville first. It is true not only is it a political capital for our state but it is also the foodie capital of the volunteer state. There is a town that may be able to rival the mighty culinary giant of Music City. There are three famous restaurants in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and they are all just as amazing as anything you can find in Nashville. Our capital is also known for the number of celebrities that call the city home, but in the Smoky Mountains, there are plenty who have set up amazing places to eat and have quite a big following too. These three restaurants don’t just stand on the celebrity name attached to it but they stand as some of Pigeon Forge’s finest culinary experiences.
The queen of East Tennessee was born and raised in Sevierville and not only has made a long successful career with her musical talent but has won over the world with her sincere love. It is hard to go anywhere in Tennessee, without seeing the adoration people have for this hometown woman. She has created top-notch attractions like Dollywood theme park and water park, and Dolly Parton’s Stampede is just as good.
This restaurant is more of a full-on experience. Bring your family and get treated to a four-course meal just like you would growing up in the South. Get treated to Southern classics like homemade biscuits, corn on the cob, rosary chicken, BBQ pork loins, and much more. This feast will be just as big as the main attraction.

The show itself is a thrilling nonstop horse troating good time. Watch the beautiful beasts carry riders around as they sing and dance. Tricks involving fire rings and pyrotechnics are sure to get your heart pumping, and there will be sections that will produce laughter and fun. This dinner show is one incredible place to see right here in Pigeon Forge.
Guy Fieri has traveled all across the country and has tasted the best of the best that our top chefs have to offer. Taking that experience he has created Downtown Flavortown in our amazing town and created one of the most bombastic approaches to culinary arts.
Nothing on the menu is a mellow normal dish. From the appetizers to the main course, you will be hard-pressed to find a place with bigger and bolder flavors than this. Wild combinations that you can only dream of like the spaghetti and meatballs waffles. The burgers are so big you might need to cut it up just to get a bite, and the ingredients all complement each other in the best ways.

Not only is it the best place in town to get the biggest flavors but it is also a great place to play. The large arcade houses some of the latest and greatest video games and virtual experiences but they have classic favorites as well. Compete for top scores or collect tickets and use them to win high-quality prizes. If button mashing and screens are not your thing then grab a lane for a little bit of some duckpin bowling. You can stay long after your meal at Downtown Flavortown.
Paula Deen is a southern belle hailing from Georgia, but she has planted a lovely restaurant right in the heart of Pigeon Forge called Paula Deen's Family Kitchen. Located in the Island across from the musical fountain like a beacon for fun and families to gather around some good ole southern comfort food.
At Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen friends and families are encouraged to do the very thing that brings people together, share a meal. Inside you can hear countless conversations from large groups laughing and having a great time over some tasty classics.

This restaurant serves meals to the table family style to further encourage that connectivity we love and share around the dinner table. If you are familiar with this lovable chef then you will know Paula can cook up some amazing delicacies and the whole menu is taken right from her very own cookbooks. So what you might have seen enticing you on tv can now be delivered hot and ready to your table.
We have some pretty amazing choices when it comes to famous restaurants in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. These places simply don’t rely on the name attached to the restaurant, but each offers something different for guests to enjoy. They do what they do well and I am thankful we have such talented people who set up places like this in our very own backyard.
