Head To This Unique Honey Farm In Tennessee For A Bee-autiful Adventure
When we think of the state of Tennessee, we most often think of fried chicken, bbq and a good, flaky biscuit. It’s where you come to know southern hospitality, where you find your community of people in church or at the neighborhood bar. In recent years, especially in Nashville, we’ve seen a wave of newcomers infiltrate local economy with new businesses and fabulous new ideas – and this bee farm? May just be one of our favorites.

Bees tend to stir up an extreme reaction from folks, they're either terrified of a potential sting of they find them to be nurturers of life. Williams Honey Farm, located on the outskirts of Franklin, Tennessee, notes on their website that, "one in three bites you take is thanks to a honeybee," and that's pretty incredible.

Actually, the Williams Honey Farm takes a lot of pride in their education of the public. Founded a handful of years ago, they not only farm in the Tennessee countryside but they visit public spaces, including schools and churches, to help the greater public come to understand the honeybee a bit better.

They proudly make "all things honey," and make it known that their product is never treated or heated beyond its natural state.

Although the farm isn't currently open to visits from the public, the honey farm is incredibly open with their sustainable farming practices. We're crossing our fingers that there will be a brick-and-mortar store sometime soon!
