The barn you drove through is called the Entrance Barn. This stunning building is also where you can stay in any of the four rooms offered. The Farmhouse will give you plenty of porches to sit and relax, whereas The Lion and the Lamb building will give you access to the two-story octagonal turret. Other options include private cottages or a replica of an old New England schoolhouse.

It also means that many birds will happily make their visits to various spots around the resort. That became the inspiration for the room decor. Every room at the Whitestone Inn is named after a bird, and the color scheme of each room matches the colors found on that bird.
Originally, the property had tall trees blocking the line of sight to the lake, but they were cut down so guests can get an amazing display of our beautiful countryside. On a clear day, you can even see the Smoky Mountains peeking out on the horizon.
