All told, there are over 56 miles of hiking trails throughout Fall Creek Falls State Park. That's more than enough to keep you occupied for a day or even an entire weekend.

You can even camp at the park as well. They have 10 cabins that are available for rent as well as 222 RV/tent sites and 16 primitive campsites for the die-hards out there.

If you continue down the trail to the base of Cane Creek Falls, just be sure to keep in mind that the area is full of slippery and steep rocks. You can climb out directly from the falls, but you have to climb up a 45-degree slope with the help of a hand cable.

The best starting point to get to the bridge is at the Betty Dunn Nature Center, which is located in Pikeville at 10821 Park Rd. See you on the trail!
