Paddling and fishing are also popular for visitors since Cove Lake is perfectly serene and great for an afternoon out on your own. There's also a swimming pool at Cove Lake State Park for those who would rather enjoy watery recreation in a more controlled space.
Camping is also popular in the state park with 100 campsites to choose from. All sites have their own water and electrical hookups, and a majority have grills and tables as well. There are two bathhouses with hot showers and restrooms and a camp store is open during seasonal hours.
