8. Chattanooga has the fastest internet in the US.

Step aside, Silicon Valley! Chattanooga houses the Electric Power Board, which means the southern Tennessee city has internet speeds more than 50 times the average across the United States.
7. We're home to one of the largest underground lakes in the world.
