A good cup of coffee can start the day off on a great note, and you will find folks of all ages flocking to coffee shops in Tennessee. Whether an iced latte is on your mind or perhaps just a simple black coffee to go, there’s something grounding about ordering your cup from the neighborhood shop. The Celtic Cup Coffee House is located in Tullahoma, Tennessee, right in the center of this oft-forgotten town. Situated in a beautifully repurposed home, you can visit for lunch, coffee, afternoon tea, or even live music.
The Celtic Cup is a cozy, thoughtfully outfitted coffee shop in the town of Tullahoma, Tennessee. The revamped Craftsman home has been designed with an 18th-century Irish theme, and you will find warm wood accents, comfy spaces to curl up, and a well-considered menu every time you visit.
Although the Irish influence is most prominent, there are touches of Scottish influence as well. A small gift shop rounds out the cafe's gathering spaces, and there are plenty of tables at which to meet a friend for coffee or grab lunch with your team. Don't skip out on wandering the little Celtic store, too. You may find something to take home with you!
Doesn't this look like a great spot to grab lunch? The menu is tidy and well thought out, so expect quality over sprawling quantity. Instead, be ready to choose from thick Reuban sandwiches, perfectly toasted paninis, cups of warm coffee, and specialty frozen drinks.
The Celtic Cafe hosts live music events on Saturday evenings, and the house is also available to book for your own special events. "Tea Time" is a specialty service available between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m from Monday to Saturday, and you can capitalize on a full tea service including pastries and sandwiches.
Snag an "English Toasty" with sausage for breakfast, and the fresh salads and house-loaded baked potatoes are popular as a savory lunch option. Espresso drinks run the gamut from a classic latte to fun options like a "Bonfire Mocha" made with cayenne pepper. If the heat is a little too much to bear come summertime, don't skip out on the blended spiced chai. It's topped with whipped cream!
Make sure that you check The Celtic Cup's official website before you head on over for special hours and events. Parking spaces are fairly limited, so make sure you park with caution!
