My name is Chris Dodge and I live right here in the great state of Tennessee. My family and I are full adventurers filled with passion to see the amazing things our state has to offer. We are avid hikers and have explored many different places in Tennessee and beyond but we are always thankful to be living in such a glorious state.
When it comes to charming small towns in Tennessee, Samburg certainly fits the bill. Located on the shores of Reelfoot Lake, Samburg is both scenically splendiferous and also historically rich. In fact, if you want to experience a slice of “old Tennessee,” visit Samburg not for only a trip back in time, but also to experience a quiet place surrounded by nature.
Samburg, Tennessee, is famous for being a small town that offers spectacular hunting and fishing. You will find everything you would come to expect from a tiny town along the water’s edge. Like stepping back in time, the town is both charming and rustic but most of all makes very good use of the picturesque lake.
