This Little Known Natural Waterslide In Tennessee Will Be Your New Favorite Summer Destination
Hey there, summertime – please don’t ever end! We wouldn’t mind giving away the humidity, but when it comes to the beauty of our rivers and mountains, that’s one partnership we never want to end. It recently came to our attention that Tennesseans are using the bottom of the Cane Creek Cascades as a natural waterslide. I’m sure you feel as shocked as we were – like, WHOA. Such a neat idea, one that will give you a whole afternoon of fun. (When you’re not hanging out at these waterparks, of course.)

The Cane Creek Cascades, located in Fall Creek Falls State Park, is one of the most beautiful sights in Tennessee. It may not be as widely lauded as Fall Creek Falls itself, but the stunning water flow and gorgeous surrounding forest makes for a beautiful day in the wilderness.

The whole of the waterfall is 45 feet tall, which makes for a lovely bit of watery spray in the forest, a breath of fresh air in the musky Tennessee heat.

You can see a couple of littles enjoying a bit of time in the water. If you're careful, you can use the watery slip and slide rocks down below. This may not be the longest, most thrilling ride in the world - but hey. You can slip. And you can slide. It's a little more scintillating for kids, we will admit.
Look at how gorgeous the falls are!
