When it comes to food in Tennessee, there’s plenty of things that we do well, like barbecue, biscuits, and pretty much every baked good you can imagine. But seafood wouldn’t be high on anyone’s list when they think of Tennessee specialties. Enter: Storming Crab. This Clarksville spot is like a Cajun oasis right in the heart of Middle Tennessee, serving up the best crab and crawfish boils outside of Louisiana. So if you’re in the mood for seafood, you have to check this place out.
Storming Crab is no-frills in everything they do. They'll serve up your food just like you'd get it in Southwest Louisiana, spread on the table in front of you. Of course they put down fresh paper!
Everything is boiled together, true Cajun style, but you can order your combos at the spiciness you prefer. From mild to super hot, you can do it your way.
This location in Clarksville is the second location, but the original is in Clarksville, Indiana. They're also in the process of opening two more locations, one in Tennessee and one in New York.
If you're anywhere near Clarksville, you have to check this place out. They're open from noon to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and they're open an extra hour on Friday and Saturday nights. Visit them at 2135 Lowes Dr.
Did you know that you can camp on the beach right here in Tennessee? It’s true, and this state park is the perfect spot to do it.
