My name is Chris Dodge and I live right here in the great state of Tennessee. My family and I are full adventurers filled with passion to see the amazing things our state has to offer. We are avid hikers and have explored many different places in Tennessee and beyond but we are always thankful to be living in such a glorious state.
There is a city in the Volunteer State that is unlike any other place in our country. Filled with roadside attractions, weird buildings, and fascinating architecture, Pigeon Forge is truly one of a kind. You could easily spend a whole week in this city and only scratch the surface of what kind of fun you could have. Pigeon Forge in Tennessee was designed as a destination for pure enjoyment. We suggest you take a drive down the Parkway to see this city for yourself.
Pigeon Forge sits at the foot of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
You will have a beautiful view of the mountains from just about anywhere in the city. The natural beauty will be the backdrop, but Pigeon Forge is jam-packed with bizarre and fun attractions.
Everything you drive by is designed to be big and eye-catching. Being in a landlocked state, it may be a surprise when you roll up next to the Titanic.
This iconic vessel sits in a parking lot with part of the boat in a pond and a replica of an iceberg next to it. This structure isn't just for show; it also houses the Titanic Museum, which is a fantastic tribute to the downed ship.

WonderWorks is a massive scientific hands-on museum, but one look at it and you know something is a little off - maybe about 180 degrees off.
Driving by gives the impression that a tower fell and crumbled part of the building. The entrances are massive hands holding cameras where you walk in through the lens. Inside, you will experience a wild combination of technology and entertainment.
If you have to do a double take at the Hollywood Wax Museum, we won’t blame you.
King Kong is perched high on the building as if battling for urban dominance. Right next to it is a celebrity version of Mount Rushmore. The longer you spend driving through Pigeon Forge, the crazier it seems to get.
Many dinner theaters are sprinkled throughout the city, but the one that might make the biggest statement is the Hatfield and Mccoy's building.
The outside looks like a huge version of an old Wild West mining town. Inside, you will be treated to some Southern home-style cooking, music, and comedy.
If you want to get a really good look at these buildings and many more check out this video from Adventuring in the Moment.
There are so many things to see while driving through Pigeon Forge in Tennessee. Wild large rides, attractions, stores, and museums make up this incredible one-of-a-kind town. If you want to spend some time enjoying some of these sights, we suggest you ride this Ferris wheel. From it, you will have an excellent view of the whole city.
