Hidden in the mountains and valleys of the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains is a quiet little peak called Foxfire Mountain. It’s been owned by the same family for years and years, but the canopy walks, zip lines, and suspension bridges have all been built in the last ten years. In fact, one of the bridges is the longest swinging bridge in America. For those of you who are the adrenaline junkie types, just know that this sky walk is absolutely the thrill you’re looking for. For those of you that are afraid of heights, just don’t look down.
The longest bridge, called "The Bridge to Prosperity" is completely safe but is incredibly nerve-wracking. We don't recommend doing it when it's covered in snow though.
Foxfire Mountain Adventures is open year-round, and you can book your tickets to any of their adventures in advance at their website. Visit today in Sevierville at 3757 Thomas Lane.
