Tennessee is chock full of locals who think outside the box and love to celebrate their favorite season with friends, and this unique scarecrow festival located in the darling town of Granville is sure to give you a day to remember.
This year marks the sixth annual Granville Scarecrow Festival, and it spans the entire month of October. The whole town shows out and shows up for the fun, which makes this down-home experience even sweeter.
The buildings and streets of the town are featuring characters from the 1950's this year, but you'll find over 300 lifesize scarecrows - and the spare historical figure - scattered across homes and businesses in the city.

There's even a special street for children, known as "Memory Lane." Here you'll find Bambi, Dumbo, the Peanuts Gang and even characters from the Wizard of Oz in scarecrow form.
